LIC AAO 22 Mar 2015 Paper

The Lok Sabha on 4 March 2015 passed the Insurance Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2015 for increasing Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) cap in the insurance sector to 49 percent from 26 percent. The Bill proposed the establishment of Life Insurance Council and the General Insurance Council that will act as selfregulating bodies for the insurance sector
