The number of laptops sold by companies B and C together in May is what percent more than the number of laptops sold by company D in April?

Solution:

(2) Number of laptops sold by companies B and C in May = 1000 + 800 = 1800
Number of laptops sold by company D in April = 1200
∴ Required percent

= ({1800 -1200 }/1200 )× 100

=600/12 = 50%
