When capacitors are connected in series

Or C1C2=5(µF)2......(ii)
(∵C1+C2=10µF)
(C1−C2)2=C12+C22−2C1C2.....(iv)
Put the value from Eqs. (i) and (ii) in the eq. (iii)
Hence, Put the above value in Eq (iv)
∴‌‌C1−C2=√5µ.....(v)
Now from Eqs. (i) and (v),
