Dipolemoment of NF3 is less than that of NH3 . This is due to

‘F’ is more electronegative than ‘N’
N – F bond is more polar than N – H bond
In NF3 the orbital dipole moment is in the opposite direction to the three N – F bond dipoleswhere as in NH3 orbital dipole moment is in the same direction of three N – H bond dipoles.
‘N’ is smaller in size than ‘F’
