As we know, the inductive reactance is directly proportional to the frequency of the AC circuit
‌ i.e., ‌‌XL=ωL
⇒‌XL=2πfL (∵ω=2πf)
Here, f is the frequency of the AC circuit,
L is the inductive resistance
and XL is the inductive reactance.
When the frequency of an AC circuit is halved, then the inductive reactance of the circuit is also halved.
