Aniline reacts with potassium dichromat (K2Cr2O7) to form
1,4 - benzoquinone as the product. The nascent oxygen produced
from (K2Cr2O7) reacts with aniline to form 1,4 - benzoquinone with the removal of NH4+ion.
This reaction involves oxidation of aniline
