Choice (A) Given that

\PQ =√ { 10 } ,

thus

\AQ = { √ { 10 } } /{ √ { 2 } } = √ { 5 }

Also QB

= 10 - √{ 5 }

and

\QR = \QB ×√{ 2 } = 10√ { 2 } - √{ 10 }

Area of PQRS

= √ { 10 } ( 10 √ { 2 } - √ { 10 } ) = 10 ( √ { 20 } - 1 )
