Given:
Ratio of the present age of Karan and Arjun = 6 : 7
Ratio of age after three years = 13 : 15
Calculation:
Let the present ages of Karan and Arjun be 6x and 7x respectively.
According to question:

(6x+3)

(7x+3)

=

⇒ 15(6x + 3) = 13(7x + 3)
⇒ 90x + 45 = 91x + 39
⇒ x = 6
∴ Karan’s present age = 6x = 36 years
And, Arjun‘s present age = 7x = 42 years
