Given :
The Student Mohan write the pages = 900 and increased 20%
The Student Shilpa write the pages = 1000 and increased 10%
Formula used
Total numbers of pages written by Mohan and Shilpa = Increased number of pages by Mohan + increased in the number of pages by Shilpa
Number of increased pages = given Pages × increased percentage ÷ 100
Calculation
Total number of pages written by Mohan = 900 + 900 × 20 ÷ 100
= 900 + 180 = 1080
Total number of pages written by Shilpa = 1000 + 1000 × 10 ÷ 100
= 1000 + 100 = 1100
Hence, total numbers of pages written by Mohan and Shilpa in 2020 = 1080 + 1100 = 2180
