(1) Mary Kom is an Indian boxer belonging to Kom tribal community of north-eastern state of Manipur. She is a fivetime World Boxing champion, and the only woman boxer to have won a medal in each one of the six world championships. She won a Bronze Medal in the Flyweight (51kg) category of London Olympics.
