(3) As many as 58 new trains, including five new ‘Jansadharan’ trains and an equal number of premium group of trains were announced in the Rail Budget on 8 July 2014. The new trains included 6 AC Express , 27 Express, 8 passenger trains, 2 Mainline Electric Multiple Unit services and 5 Diesel Electric Multiple Unit services besides extension of 11 existing trains.
