Let L and B be the length and breadth of a rectangle, respectively.
Then
2(L + B) = 118
⇒ L + B = 59 …..(1)
Also, LB = 828 …..(2)
From (1) and (2) we get
L = 36cm and B = 23cm
Length of square = 2L = 2 × 36 = 72cm
Perimeter of square = 4 × 72 = 288cm
