Given -

Formula used -
for an arithmetic progression, nth term formula

\T_\n = \a + (\n - 1) × \d

where, a = first term, n = number of term, d = common difference
Solution -
Let the 10th term be T10.

-4 - 1 + 2 + 5 + ……….

⇒ \a = - 4, \n = 10, \d = (- 1 + 4) = 3

⇒ \T_10 = - 4 + (10 - 1) × 3

⇒ \T_10 = 23

∴ 10th term of progression = 23.
