Solution:

In the first hour it traveled 86 miles.
In the second hour it traveled

miles,

x+0.25 x=86, x=68.8

miles.
In the third hour it traveled

120 × 1 / 3=40

miles.
The total distance is

86+68.6+40=194.8

miles.
