Solution:

There are

(5 \/ 6 × 300=250)

white sheep's.
There are

(2 \/ 3 × 300=200)

soft woolen sheep's.
The maximum overlap is the size of the smallest among the groups, thus 200 . The minimum overlap is

(250+200-300=150)

. Therefore, the number of sheep's can be somewhere between 150 and 200.
