Absolute pressure at point 1 = absolute pressure of point 2

(P_{\abs})_{1}=(P_{\abs})_{2}

{P_{\atm}}+0= {P_{\atm}}+ {P}_{ {A}}+ {C} {P}_{ {A}}+ {ρgh}

{P}_{ {A}}=-ρ g h

So -ve gauge pressure.
