Solution:

If we consider a total cylinder then by gauss law

∮ {D} ⋅ {d} {s}= {Q}_{\;\text "enclosed "\;}

And we are considering only

th of the cylinder

∴ {D}=\;{ {Q} ⋅ {H}}/{4}

∴ {E}=\;{ {Q} ⋅ {H}}/{4 ∈_{0}}
