|z| ≤ 1 ?

Solution:

Given the region

|z| ≤ 1

f(z)=\;{z^{2}-1}/{z+2}

is not analytic at

z=-2

and

|z|=|-2|=2>1

lies outside of given region

|z|=1

∴ f(z)=\;{z^{2}-1}/{z+2}

is analytic in the given region
