Formula Used: $\left({\mathit{M}}_1\times {\mathit{D}}_1\right)∕{\mathit{W}}_1=\left({\mathit{M}}_2\times {\mathit{D}}_2\right)∕{\mathit{W}}_2$
Calculation:
$5\mathit{M}\mathit{e}\mathit{n}=9$ women
1 men $=\left(9∕5\right)$ women
3 Men $=3\times \left(9∕5\right)$ women $=\left(27∕5\right)$ women
So work done $=3$ Men and 6 Women
$\Rightarrow 27∕5+6=57∕5$
Let the day of complete piece of work 3 men and 6 women be $\mathit{X}$
$\Rightarrow \left(9\times 19\right)∕{\mathit{W}}_1=\left[\left(57∕5\right)\times \mathit{X}\right]∕{\mathit{W}}_2$
Here work is same so ${\mathit{W}}_1={\mathit{W}}_2$
$\Rightarrow 9\times 19=57\mathit{X}∕5$
$\Rightarrow \mathit{X}=3\times 5=15$
$\therefore$ The 3 men and 6 women will do the same work in 15 days.
