Solution:

Let the speed of B = v

Now,

{(1000-50)m}/v-{1000m}/{8km\/h}=15sec

[ ∵\time=\distance/\speed]

⇒

950/v-{1000×18}/{8×5}=15

⇒

950/v=465

∴

v=950/465×18/5

=7.35≈7.4{km}\/h
