Murder : the unlawful premeditated killing of one human being by another. Forgery : the action of forging a copy or imitation of a document, signature, banknote, or work of art. Stealing : take (another person's property) without permission or legal right and without intending to return it. Dacoity : (in India or Burma (Myanmar)) an act of violent robbery committed by an armed gang. Larceny : theft of personal property. In English law larceny was replaced as a statutory crime by theft in 1968.
