Culprit : a person who is responsible for a crime or other misdeed. Jury : a body of people (typically twelve in number) sworn to give a verdict in a legal case on the basis of evidence submitted to them in court. Witness : a person who sees an event, typically a crime or accident, take place. Accused : a person or group of people who are charged with or on trial for a crime. Victim : a person harmed, injured, or killed as a result of a crime, accident, or other event or action.
