Ratio of investment by Isha and Zoya = 65000 : 26000 = 5 : 2
Zoya works as the working partner and takes 20% of the total profit as his salary and remaining profit is divided according to their capital;
Suppose total profit = Rs. x;
∴ Profit earned by Isha = 0.8x × 5/7 = 4x/7
Profit earned by Zoya = 0.8x × 2/7 + 0.2x = 1.6x/7 + 0.2x = 3x/7
∴ Ratio of profit earned by Isha and Zoya = 4 : 3
Since Isha received Rs. 4050 more than Zoya;
∴ Total profit earned = 4050 × 7/(4 – 3) = Rs. 28350
