Length of a train = 120 m
Speed of a train = 36 km/hr
Length of a platform = 130 m
FORMULA USED:
Total Distance = (Length of the train + length of the platform)
Time = Distance/Speed
CALCULATION:
Distance = 120 + 130 = 250 m
Speed of Train = 36 km/hr = 36 × 5/18 = 10 m/sec.
∴ Required time = 250/10 = 25 sec.
