${\mathit{l}}^2={\mathit{r}}^2+{\mathit{h}}^2$ (l = slant height, r = radius, h = height)
Calculation:
According to the question
${13}^2={\mathit{r}}^2+{12}^2$
⇒ ${\mathit{r}}^2=169\mathit{–}144$
⇒ ${\mathit{r}}^2=25$
⇒ r = 5
∴ Volume of water $=\left[\frac{1}{3}\right]\times \mathit{\pi }\times 5\times 5\times 12=100\mathit{\pi }\mathit{c}{\mathit{m}}^3$
