Monthly salary of A and B is Rs. 90000 combined.
A spends 75% of his salary and B spends 80% of his salary.
CONCEPT:
Savings = Income – Expenditure CALCULATION:
Let the salary of A be Rs. x then the salary of B will be Rs. (90000 – x)
∵ A saves 25% and B saves 20%
⇒ 0.25x = 0.2 × (90000 – x)⇒ 0.45x = 18000
⇒ x = 40000
∴ Salary of A = Rs. 40000
