Formula used:
Income = Expenditure + Savings
Calculation:
Man saves 30% of his income is same as man’s expenditure of income = 100% - 30% = 70%
Let income of man = 100
Hence, expenditure = 70
And, savings = 30
New income = 122/100 × 100 = 122,
New expenditure = (110/100) × 70 = 77
Now, new savings = 122 – 77 = 45
Increase in savings = 45 - 30 = 15
Thus, percentage increase in his savings = (15/30) × 100 = 50%
