Solution:

Common positive factors of 36 and

48=2,3,4,6

and 12.

According to the question

999+9 × {x}=2 × 3 × 4 × 6 × 12

⇒ 9 {x}+999=1728

⇒ \;\; 9 x=1728-999

∴ \;\; x=\;{729}/{9}=81
