Diversity is important in a country like India where diverse cultures exist. Diversity is important because our country, workplaces, and schools increasingly consist of various cultural, racial, and ethnic groups. A social science teacher should include examples of multiple culture in class discussing and also encourage students to show their personal experiences in the class. It is because learning about other cultures helps us understand different perspectives within the world in which we live. It helps dispel negative stereotypes and personal biases about different groups.
