In a classroom discussion on architecture of New Delhi, a teacher should focus on discussing about the importance of British architectural styles. The British invited Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker to design the government buildings in Delhi. Edwin Lutyens was the Edwardian architect. In recognition of his contribution, New Delhi is also known as "Lutyens' Delhi". Examples of his architectural work are India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan and so on.
