The sides of a triangle are 6.5 cm,10 cm and x cm, where x is a positive number. What is the smallest possible value of X among the following ?

Solution:

We know that When we subtract the two sides of a triangle then third side is always greater than the substract value.

{AB}-{BC} < {AC}

⇒10-6.5 < x

∴3.5 < x

Now, the third side is always greater than the 3.5
So smallest possible value

=4
