Solution:

Let the numbers are x and y
According to condition

{x}+{y}=63

..........(1)
Also,

x=2y

⇒{y}=\;\;{{x}}/{2}

Putting 'y' value in eqn. (1)

x+\;\;{x}/{2}=63\;\;\;\;\;\;\;{x}/{2}=63-x

\;\;{x}/{63-x}=2
