Solution:

Factors of

x^{2}+7x+10

are

:x^{2}+5x+2x+10

{⇒x(x+5)+2(x+5)}

{⇒(x+2)(x+5)}

..........(1)
Factors of

x^{2}-3x-10

are:

x^{2}-5x+2x-10

⇒x(x-5)+2(x-5)

⇒(x-5)(x+2)

.........(2)
From eqn. (1) & (2)
∴ Common factor is

(x+2)
