Dyslexia is a language disability. This condition, which is remedial, makes it difficult for a person to read, write, spell, compute, organize and comprehend, despite adequate intelligence and conventional instruction. 15% to 20% of the population experiences some degree of Dyslexia.
Dyslexic learners may have difficulties with the following:
(i) Pronunciation
(ii) Reading
(iii) Listening tasks
(iv) Answering oral questions
(v) Accessing words from dictionary
(vi) Ordering days in a week, months in a year, numerical data, etc.
