Co-operative learning and peer-tutoring should be actively promoted in an inclusive classroom. Cooperative learning, sometimes called small-group learning, is an instructional strategy in which small groups of students work together on a common task. Peer-tutoring/learning pedagogy is part of an active learning strategy, which is being increasingly used in schools around the world. In this mode of learning, students interact with their peers and learn from each other without any supervising authority.
