ABCD is a square with AB = (x + 16) cm and BC = (3x) cm. The perimeter (in cm) of the square is

Solution:

∵ ABCD is a square
∴ BC=AB(sides of a square)

3x=x+16

2x=16

∴x=8

∴ Perimeter of square

=4×\;\text"side"\;=4×24=96{cm}
