Learning becomes easy if a child is able to decode the meaning of the concepts being taught. Language proficiency works well with the learning process that is why two languages are a must for the learner to know. One is mother tongue and the other one is for the curriculum purpose or others. Mother tongue is a medium to make a child learn the new language so that he can decode the meaning easily.
