Solution:

4x^{2}+y^{2}-4xy+14x-7y+12

=4x^{2}+y^{2}-4xy+12x+2x-6y-2+9+3

=(4x^{2}+v^{2}+12x-6y-4xy+9)+2x-y+3

=(2x+y+3)^{2}+(2x-y+3)

=(2x-y+3)(2x-y+3+1)

=(2x-y+3)(2x-y+4)

Factor is

(2x-y+3)
