Area

=720m^2

Height = 20 m
One parallel side = 35 m
Second parallel side = ?

∴\text "Area of Trapezium"=\;\;{1}/{2}×(\;\text"one parallel side"\;+\;\text"second parallel side")×\text "height".

⇒720=\;\;{1}/{2}×(35+\;\text"second side"\;)+20

⇒\;\;{720}/{10}=35+\text "second side"

⇒72-35=

second side
⇒ 37 = second side
∴Second parallel side = 37 m
