Solution:

\;\;{3^{502}-3^{500}+16}/{3^{500}+2}=\;\;{3^{502}+2-3^{500}+10+4}/{3^{500}+2}

=\;\;{3^{500}+2(3^{2}-5)+4}/{3^{500}+2}=(9-5)+4=4+4=8
