CTET 2 Math and Science Feb 2014 Paper

An activity asks students to determine from a list of possible answers with a title, what kind of information will appear in an input text before an audio recording is played. Here the students are actively predicting the language of the input. By raising students' awareness of listening as a skill that requires active engagement, and by explicitly teaching listening strategies, instructors help their students develop both the ability and the confidence to handle communication situations they may encounter beyond the classroom.
