Solution:

Let

A=x-x-6

and

B=x-5 x+6

A=x-x-6

⇒ A=x-3 x+2 x-6

⇒ x(x-3)+2(x-3)

⇒(x-3)(x+2)

B=x-5 x+6

⇒ B=x-3 x-2 x+6

⇒ x(x-3)-2(x-3)

⇒(x-3)(x-2)

From the equation (1) and (2) common factor (x - 3)

∴ x-5 x+6

and

x^2-5 x+6

Is

(x-3)
