Measures of two supplementary angles are (2a + b)° and (3a - b)°, then, value of 3a is equal to

Solution:

(2 {\a}+ {\b})^{∘}+(3 {\a}- {\b})^{∘}=180^{∘}

⇒ 5 {\a}=180^{∘}

⇒ {\a}=36^{∘}

Now,

∴ 3 {\a}=3 × 36^{∘}=108^{∘}

The correct option is 2 i.e.

108^{∘}
