If A = -2x² + 12x, B = 11 - 8x + 3x², C = 17 - 4x² and D = x² - x - 3, then what is the sum of the coefficients of x² and x in (A + B + C - D)?

Solution:

\;A+B+C-D=-2 x^2+12 x+11-8 x+3 x^2+17-4 x^2-x^2+x+3

\;⇒-2 x^2+3 x^2-4 x^2-x^2+12 x-8 x+x+11+17+3

\;⇒-4 x^2+5 x+31=-4 x^2+5 x+25

Hence, The Coefficient of

x^2=-4

Coefficient of

x=5

Hence, The Sum of Coefficient of

x^2 & x=-4+5=1
