To teach her students about the conditions required for photosynthesis to take place in plants, a class 8 teacher began by defining the process of pholosynthesis and then listing the various factors required for photosynthesis viz. sunlight, water and air. She then engaged her students in a group project in which they themselves verified the importance of each factor over the next few days. How would you evaluate this strategy from the point of view of inquiry-oriented pedagogy.
