Section 299 and 397 of the Indian Penal Code are related to the offences affecting human body. Section 299 relates to culpable homicide, i.e. whoever causes death by doing an act with the intention of causing death, Section 397 relates to robbery, or dacoity, with attempt to cause death or grievous hurt.
