Let the value between 0 and 1 be taken = 0.5
So, putting this value in the given equation we can check the equation.
(i) ${\mathit{a}}^2$ - 1 > 0 ⇒ ${\left(0.5\right)}^2$ - 1 = 0.25 - 1 = - 0 75 > 0
∴ This equation is not true.
(ii) ${\mathit{a}}^2$ + 1 > 0 ⇒ ${\left(0.5\right)}^2$ + 1 = 1.25 > 0 (true)
(iii) ${\mathit{a}}^2-\mathit{a}$ > 0 ⇒ $\mathit{a}\left(\mathit{a}-1\right)$ > 0⇒ (0.5)(0.5 - 1) = - 0.25 > 0 (false)
∴ (ii) is the correct answer.
