Let Anupam's age be q years
Let Monu's age be r years
Let Pinku's age be s yearsAccording to the question,
p+ q+ r+ s= 45$...........\left(\mathrm{i}\right)$
(p + 2) + (q- 2)+ 2r+-= 45$...........\left(\mathrm{ii}\right)$
From Eqs. (i) and (ii), we get
$\mathit{r}-\frac{\mathit{s}}{2}$ = 0
⇒ s = 2r $...........\left(\mathrm{iii}\right)$
Also it is given, p+ q = $\frac{1}{2}$(r+ s)$...........\left(\mathrm{iv}\right)$
On putting the value of Eqs. (iii) and (iv) in Eq. (i),
we get r= 10 years
So, Monu's age r = 10 years
