Read the following information carefully and answer the question which follows.
Following the example of City X where use of CNG for public transport vehicles reduced carbon emissions significantly, City Y too envisaged it as the future for a clean and green environment. However, after just three years, it is being realised that CNG has failed to deliver any promising results in City Y and it is as polluted as it was three years ago.
