CGPET 2017 Solved Paper

Three objects A,B and C are kept in a straight line on a frictionless horizontal surface. These objects have masses M,M and 2M respectively. The object A moves towards B with a speed of 9m∕s and makes an elastic collision with it. There after, B makes completely inelastic collision with C. All motions occur in the same straight line. Find the final speed of the object C.
